billy & teddy, as fucking always. i think the reason i endlessly redraw these two in super generic poses is ‘cause i’m never happy with what i do. so i keep trying over and over and over again. also, drawing them has become, like, a warm-up: no thinking required.
This is what happens when I doodle.
Things get out of hand and then I spend hours on it.
But here’s Asgardian, starring Billy Kaplan’s Fabulous Ass!

He’s not on tumblr, so he asked me to post this, and I shall point you all at his wonderful art on www.cpjudd.com

Young Avengers #07 by Alan Heinberg and Andrea DeVito - October 2005
Billy Kaplan, if you don’t get in here right now and eat breakfast with your family, you run the risk of developing antisocial behaviors, scoring lower on standardized tests, and not getting into the college of your choice… It’s true. There’ve been studies.

Teddy/Billy by kitten-chan
[In the beginning nobody knew what to make of us.]
Steve: The reason you’re here tonight is because we need your help.
Billy: What can we do?
Steve: Quite a lot, it turns out.
[Seven super-powered Avengers fans—who came together because the Avengers had fallen apart.]
Steve: You found the Scarlet Witch, when we couldn’t. You stopped Doctor Doom, when we couldn’t. You managed to defuse our conflict with the X-Men—
Jessica: For the moment.
[But maybe that’s the point.]
Steve: …In our eyes, you are and always will be…Avengers.
[That there are no guarantees. There are no happy endings. But you show up anyway. You don’t’ give up. You never give up. Maybe that’s what it takes…to be a hero.]
